Etiquette

1. Remain sober at all times; carrying or drinking alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in stations and on trains.
2. Filming or photography for commercial use requires an official media permit from Qatar Rail.
3. Do not play music out loud or perform on musical instruments anywhere in stations or trains.
4. Do not block train doors when boarding or alighting.
5. Do not spit inside stations or trains.
6. Use escalators properly -- stand to one side, hold the handrail.
7. Do not misuse the fire alarm or any emergency alarm system.
8. Two-wheeled vehicles (bicycles, scooters) are not allowed on board, but folded bikes and wheelchairs are permitted.
9. Family carriages are reserved for families and lone women -- lone men should use the standard carriages.

Baggage Policy

• Animals are not allowed on trains or in stations, except guide dogs for blind passengers and hearing dogs for deaf passengers. Any animal brought on board must not cause a nuisance to other passengers or the network.
• Carrying alcoholic beverages into stations or onto trains is strictly prohibited.
• If you lose an item or find one on the network, report it to an Authorised Representative (station staff) as soon as possible.
• Two-wheeled vehicles such as bicycles and scooters are not permitted; folded bicycles and wheelchairs are allowed.
• Baggage should not obstruct other passengers or block doors and aisles.

All luggage must be stowed in the dedicated luggage area, which can be found in each cabin.

Unaccompanied Minors Policy

• Children aged 4 and under travel free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult, and do not need their own Travel Card.
• Children aged 5 and above need their own Travel Card and pay the same fare as adults.
• Children aged 9 and above may travel alone. Children below age 9 must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or older with a valid travel pass.
